Harbin Jihua Ski Resort

Jihua Changshou Mountain Ski Resort, shortly as Jihua Ski Resort, is located in Binxi National Forest Park, about 46 kilometers (1 hours's drive) from Harbin downtown. Built in a natural basin surrounded by mountains, it is a large national ski resort closest to Harbin city seat. The surrounding tower peaks make the resort a wind-sheltered winter heaven with natural mountainous sights. Each year, the resort area has about 150-day good snow period from November to March.

The resort has 15 different ski slopes covering in total distance of 30 kilometers, to meet the needs of beginner, medium and advanced-level skiers. The trails include straight routes, half-pipe snowboard tracks and a special sled routes. The longest ski trail is 2,300 meters (1.5 miles) long. There 2 snow-packing machines, 12 snow making machines, 3 trams, 9 towlines and 10,000 snow suits enable the resort to cater for at least 3,000 skiers one day. It is a good place for cross-country skiing. Besides the skiing, snowmobiles, sleds and snow tires available for entertainment. At the club center of Jihua Ski Resort, visitors can stay for dining, meeting, leisure and more winter activities.

The resort is the training base for Harbin City Sking Team and National Youth Skiing Team of China. In the base, professional instructors also open a ski school for the public.    


Travel Tips
* Form December to March next year is the best time to visit there;
* Taking a Taxi to get there is a good choice;  
* RMB 320 for ond day ticket and 100 yuan per hour for a ski coach;
