Day 1Arrival/Beijing

Upon arrival at Beijing's airport, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is for your free relax to explore the city.

Day 2Beijing

Sites Visited: The Forbidden City, Beijing Hutongs

After breakfast at your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to visit The Forbidden City, home to China's Emperors for over 500 years. Then also go to visit Jingshan Park where you can overview almost whole Forbidden city, and see the famous Forbidden city Axis.

In the afternoon will take on a rickshaw ride through the ancient lanes and alleyways of Beijing's Hutong.

Options: In the evening you will be mesmerized by a Peking (Beijing) Opera performance in Beijing's famous Liyuan Theatre.
Note: The opera will have English and Japanese subtitles.


The Forbidden City

Day 3Beijing

Sites Visited: The Sacred Road, Badaling Great Wall

After breakfast, you will be driven for a morning visit to The Great Wall (Badaling Section). After lunch you continue to visit The Sacred Road, next to the Great Wall, the road leading to the tombs of the Ming Dynasty's Emperors. On the way back to Beijing city, you will have a stop for a outside view of the two famous Olimpic sites: the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube.

Options: In the evening you may enjoy a Peking (Beijing) Duck Banquet at the oldest and most famous professional restaurant in China.


The Sacred Road

Day 4Beijing/Xian

Meals: B,L
Sites Visited: Temple of Heaven

After breakfast at your hotel, you will pay a morning visit The Temple of Heaven, where China's Emperors prayed to heaven for harvest during ancient times. Then transfer you to Beijing South Train station to catch high speed train (5hours) to Xian. When you arrive in Xian, your local guide will meet you and transfer you to hotel for rest.

Sites Visited: Terra Cotta Warriors & Horses , Ancient City Wall

After breakfast, you will be driven to visit the incredible Terracotta Warriors. Then visit the Terracotta Warriors factory. In the afternoon, you will go on to Xian Ancient City Wall for a walk, a biking and a bird’s eye view of this ancient capital.

Options: Enjoy an amazing Jiaozi (Dumpling) Feast followed by the Tang Dynasty Show, which bring the pageantry and music of the ancient Tang Dynasty to life.

Terra Cotta Warriors & Horses

Day 6Xian/Hangzhou

Sites Visited: West Lake

Take a morning flight from Xian to Hangzhou, when you arrive in Hangzhou, your guide will meet you and transfer you to visit the West Lake, and the Qinghefang History Street. Then back to hotel near the West Lake for rest.

Day 7Hangzhou/Suzhou

Sites Visited: The Dragon Well, Dragon Well Tea

After breakfast, you will go to Dragon Well Tea Village for a visit of tea plantation and making. Then transfer you to Hangzhou train station to catch high speed train (1.5 hours) to Suzhou. Upon arrival in Suzhou, you local guide will meet you and transfer you to visit Suzhou Museum.

Day 8Suzhou/Shanghai

Sites Visited: No.1 Silk Factory, The Pan Gate, Humble Administrator Garden

After breakfast, will drive to visit the Humble administrator's Garden, the most well-known of Suzhou's four famous gardens. Then visit the No.1 Silk Factory and see the entire process of how silk is produced from silkworm, to finished product. After that you will be driven back to Hangzhou to visit the Pan Gate and for a relax walk on the Pingjiang Street.

After the day tour, you will take a night high speed train (0.5 hour ) from Suzhou to Shanghai. When you arrive in Shanghai, will meet you and transfer you to hotel for rest.

Option: Grand Canal Cruise for 1 hour. The cruise is a nice break from walking and your boat will cruise under stone bridges and past ancient houses and shops.


No.1 Silk Factory

Day 9Shanghai/Guilin

Meals: B,L
Sites Visited: The Bund Shanghai, Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Jinmao Tower

After breakfast, you will start a full day tour in Shanghai to visit the Shanghai Museum, Town God's Temple, Shikumen. Then you will have a bird view of Shanghai city on the top of Jinmao Tower and enjoy coastal sight at the Bund of Shanghai.

Then will transfer you to Shanghai airport to night flight (2 hours) to Guilin, When you arrive in Guilin will meet you and transfer you to hotel for rest.

Day 10Guilin/Yangshuo

Sites Visited: Yangshuo West Street, Li River Cruise

After breakfast, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the Mopanshan Pier (40 minutes). There you will board your boat for a Li River Cruise (4 hours) from Guilin to Yangshuo. The scenery along the Li River is often referred to as the most beautiful under heaven. Upon docking in Yangshuo, your guide will escort you to your hotel. After checking in, you will be taken down Yangshuo's famous West Street, known for its shops, bars, and eateries. Or bike around the Yangshuo countryside to enjoy the beautiful views.

Option: Li River Beer Fish for dinner in Yangshuo and Impressions of Liusanjie (Third Sister Liu) performance. The Performance, created by Zhang Yimou, China's premiere movie director and director of the Beijing Olympics’ Opening Ceremony, is made up of hundreds of people and is performed on the Li River with the mountains as the backdrop. It is an unforgettable experience.


Yangshuo West Street

Day 11Yangshuo/Guilin

Sites Visited: Yangshuo Biking, Reed Flute Cave, Fubo Hill

After breakfast, you can enjoy a morning biking around yangshuo countryside or bamboo rafting on Yulong River. Then back to Guilin city for a visit to the Reed Flute Cave. The cave's many bizarre stalagmites and stalactites make visitors feel like they have stepped into another world. Then visit the Fobo Hill. Today's tour will end with a relax walk around the Dongxi Alley.


Yangshuo Biking

Day 12Guilin/Shenzhen/Hong Kong

Meals: B,L

After breakfast, you will transfer you to take high speed train (4 hours) from Guilin to Shenzhen. Upon arrival in Shenzhen, our private driver will meet you and transfer you to Hongkong hotel directly by private van. When you arrive in Hongkong, take a free relax for the rest of the day.

Day 13Hong Kong

Sites Visited: Hong Kong Repulse Bay, Victoria Peak

After breakfast, you will start a half day Hongkong Island tour to visit Victoria Peak, Repulse Bay, Aberdeen. Then enjoy a free time in the afternoon. Hongkong is shopping paradise, you can go to shopping if you like.

Enjoy a free relax after breakfast until your guide will meet you and transfer you to the airport for your flight back home.

Transportation & Private Transfers:

Transportation cost covers all the domestic airfare of economy class with airport tax, train tickets between the cities as the itinerary specified.

 

Transfer between airports, railway station, hotels and scenic spots for sightseeing around the cities that are specified by the itinerary with private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.

 

Entrance Fees:

All entrance fees to the scenic spots listed in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by private tour guides depends on the real-time local circumstances wheather are beyond the control of Access China Travel. We will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible. 

 

Normal Meals:

All normal meals as the itinerary specified: B = breakfast, L = Lunch, D = dinner in local  restaurant. Breakfasts are served in hotel, breakfasts have Chinese or Western style for your option; Lunches are served in carefully selected quality local Chinese restaurants with best service, your lunches will be ordered by your guide catering to your preferences within normal standard. Dinners as the itinerary specified will be also served in local Chinese restaurants. The meal quotation is normalized. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, famous rare dishes, Indian food or more, please inform us in advance. For the unspecified dinners, you will have dinner on your own. Feel free to ask your local guide for suggestions or recommendation.

 

Private Sightseeing Escort:

Normal sightseeing activities as the itinerary listed will be escorted with English-speaking guide. The English-speaking guide and driver in each city are with you throughout the entire itinerary around that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.

 

Hotel Accommodation:

Hotel service criterion: two adults share on one standard twin/double-bed room; solo traveler who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room assigned is required for extra single supplement rate. A single room is available on prior request at an additional cost; if a recommended hotel unavailable, it will be replaced by one of the same class. All hotels as the itinerary listed serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
