The 12 days Vietnam Cambodia highlights tour package start from Hanoi to view Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Tran Quoc Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, Halong Bay, Cua Dai Beach, Thien Mu Pagoda, Mausoleum of Emperor Tu Duc & Minh Mang, to Siem Reap South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Terrace of Elephant, Terrace of Leper King and Pimean Akas.

Day 1Arrival/Hanoi

Meals: D

Arrival to Hanoi. ATG’s tour guide and driver will welcome you at the airport and transfer to the city center where they will have a first impression of Hanoi. Transfer to your hotel for check-in. (the rooms are available from 14:00). Free time in the afternoon, dinner at local restaurant then overnight at the hotel.

Day 2Hanoi City Tour

Meals: B,L

After breakfast, we start visit Hanoi. Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam, the only Asian city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and oriental temples. The tour includes Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the house of Ho Chi Minh, the One Pillar Pagoda, and the Tran Quoc Pagoda. Continue to visit the Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam.

Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, we continue to visit Ngoc Son Temple in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake, followed by one hour cyclo tour through the typical Old quarters of Hanoi. In the afternoon, attend a traditional Water Puppet Show at the Thang Long Theater. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3Hanoi/Halong Bay

After breakfast, meet your guide in the lobby of hotel. Departure by road to Halong Bay, we’ll travel through the rich farmlands of the Delta of Red River and the landscape of rice fields, water buffalo, and the daily life of the Vietnamese villages. Arrive in Halong and board to board a traditional junk. Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, stop at Vung Vieng fishing village, take rowing boat to the village, meet and talk and take photos with the villagers. Free time for swimming. Later on the junk move to docking area for overnight. Dinner with Vietnamese food served on board.

Day 4Halong Bay/Hanoi/Hoi An

Breakfast served while the junk cruises around Ha Long Bay passes by many rocks, islets… Stop for a while to explore Surprise cave. The junk continues cruising toward Halong port. Ready for disembarking at 11:30 AM. Transferred to Noi Bai International Airport to take a short flight to the center of Vietnam. Upon arrival direct transfer to Hoi An (30 min.) Hotel accommodation in Hoi An.

Day 5Hoi An Ancient Town

Meals: B

Free day for relax or taking an optional tour to My Son, Tra Que village or cooking class… Accommodation in Hoi An.

Day 6Hoi An/Da Nang/Hue

Meals: B

Free morning in Hoi An to do whatever take your fancy or just swimming, sunbathing on the virgin white beach of Cua Dai.
In the afternoon, transfer to Hue, which is 130km away from Hoi An. On the way visit Danang city with Cham museum, Mable mountain, Han river ... Overnight in Hue.

Day 7Hue City Tour

Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded with ancient tombs of the past emperors, and with Orient style – those tombs almost located near the bank of Hue’s river – Perfume river. Take a boat trip along river to visit the most famous religious site, Thien Mu Pagoda. Visit Mausoleum of Emperor Tu Duc & Minh Mang by car. After lunch visit the Imperial Citadel. Overnight in Hue.

Day 8Hue/Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)/Cu Chi Tunnels

After breakfast, transfer to Phu Bai airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival, drive 70 km to Cu Chi district. After lunch, visit the incredible underground Cu Chi tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. Back to Ho Chi Minh City for short city tour passing Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 9Ho Chi Minh City/Siem Reap

Free time in Saigon for shopping. At the right time, our guide will come to pick you up at hotels for transfer you to airport for short flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, our guide and coach will wait and pick up at Siem Reap International Airport then transfer to hotel for check in. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 10Siem Reap/Angkor Thom/Angkor Wat

Meals: B,L

After breakfast, you will transfer to visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Terrace of Elephant, Terrace of Leper King and Pimean Akas. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, transfer to visit the famous temple of Cambodia is Angkor Wat temple.
Free at leisure in the evening, walk along busy pub streets, dine in one of the many typical local restaurants, pop up a bar for cool drinks or shop at Angkor Night Market. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 11Siem Reap/Tonle Sap Cruise/Bantey Srey

Meals: B,L

After breakfast, transfer to take a cruise on Tonle Sap Lake, visit floating village, floating market, floating school, floating hospital and visit the fisherman life, then back to the town to have lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon, transfer to visit the fabulous Ta Prohm embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers. Banteay Srei temple, which is 38km from the town. On the way back, visit Banteay Samre temple before arrival the town, then back hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 12Siem Reap/Departure

Meals: B

After breakfast, free at leisure till transfer to the airport for the departure flight.

Transportation cost covers all the domestic airfare of economy class with airport tax, train tickets between the cities as the itinerary specified.

 

Transfer between airports, railway station, hotels and scenic spots for sightseeing around the cities that are specified by the itinerary with private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.

Breakfasts are served in hotel, breakfasts have Chinese or Western style for your option; Lunches are served in carefully selected quality local Chinese restaurants with best service, your lunches will be ordered by your guide catering to your preferences within normal standard. Dinners as the itinerary specified will be also served in local Chinese restaurants. The meal quotation is normalized. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, famous rare dishes, Indian food or more, please inform us in advance. For the unspecified dinners, you will have dinner on your own. Feel free to ask your local guide for suggestions or recommendation.

 

Private Sightseeing Escort:

Normal sightseeing activities as the itinerary listed will be escorted with English-speaking guide. The English-speaking guide and driver in each city are with you throughout the entire itinerary around that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.

 

Hotel Accommodation:

Hotel service criterion: two adults share on one standard twin/double-bed room; solo traveler who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room assigned is required for extra single supplement rate. A single room is available on prior request at an additional cost; if a recommended hotel unavailable, it will be replaced by one of the same class. All hotels as the itinerary listed serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
