Macau Tower

Macau Tower, also called Macau Sky Tower, is the tallest structure in Macao. It is another landmark in the city, regarded as the 8th highest one in Asia, soaring up to 338 meters above the ground. Officially designated as the Macau Tower Convention & Entertainment Centre (MTCEC), this modern architectural splendor is taller than the famous Eiffel Tower of Paris.

 

The tower was built by casino billionaire Stanley Ho Hung-Sun, who was very impressed by the sky tower in Auckland and he committed to build a similar one in Macau. Construction of the tower started in 1998, and the tower was officially opened on December 19, 2001.

 

The Macau Tower is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Macau, facing the Pearl River and only 5 minutes from the Macau Ferry Terminal and 15 minutes from the Macau International Airport. 

 

Macau Tower is consisted of four public levels, including main observation level and two glass floor areas. The outdoor observation deck and the revolving restaurants offer unique experience high in the sky. 

 

Macau Tower also offers great challenges with varied adventure sports offers. The mast climb and Skywalk are popular within young visitors, while the bungee jumps is the game of brave tourists. Just up to the tower and enjoy the spectacular panoramic sight of the Macau cityscape.
