Hac Sa Beaches literarily means “black sand beach”, is a popular tourist sites in Macau. It is located at the south east side of Coloane Island. Local residents also love to enjoy the charm scenery, sun bathing and do some water activities there.
The fame of this beach comes from the unique color of the sand. The beach has unique deep grey color sand, while nearby sand beaches appears in normal white color. This renowned black sand beach in Macau draws large numbers of visitors even there are not an uncomfortable journey by taking public buses.

There is also a horse riding center beside the recreation center. Horses are available for beginners as well as advanced riders, and horses can even be taken out on trails under certain conditions.
