Sanya Bay

Located west of Sanya City, Sanya Bei is a 6.2 mile bay surrounded by tropical greenery. The white sand beaches are lapped by the clear blue sea and two tropical islands can be seen out in the ocean. It is one of the most picturesque beaches in China.

Fishing is a very popular sport in Sanya Bay and it is one of the only bays in Hainan where fishing is allowed. Western Island, which can be seen from the beach is a favorite destination with fishermen.

Sanya Bay is much less crowded than some of Hainan’s other beaches, making it an ideal destination for swimming and enjoying the stunning sunsets.
