Day 1Arrival/Delhi

A warm welcome awaits you at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi followed by transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2Delhi

Meals:

After breakfast, you will go for a guided sightseeing tour of Delhi, the capital of India. The Tour will be in two halves – New Delhi and Old Delhi.

The New Delhi Tour: Drive past the daunting British era monuments such as Rashtrapati Bhawan (President's Palace), Parliament House and India Gate, built in the memory of Indian martyrs. Visit relics from the past such as Humayun's tomb and Qutab Minar.

The Old Delhi Tour: Visit the sprawling stronghold of Mughal Era -The Red Fort.

Another important site to visit is The Jama Masjid -India's largest mosque. The Raj Ghat -memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, Father of India. Overnight stay at hotel in Delhi.

Day 3Delhi/Mandawa (280 kms -6 hrs drive)

Meals:

In the morning, drive to Mandawa, an interesting village in the Shekhawati region. Check in at the hotel.

Day 4Mandawa/Bikaner (190 kms -4 hrs drive)

Meals:

After breakfast, visit the famous 18th and 19th century Havelis, famous for their beautiful frescoes and paintings. Drive to Bikaner that will take about 4 hours. Arrive Bikaner and check-in to the hotel. Spend the evening at leisure and overnight stay in the hotel at Bikaner.

Day 5Bikaner

Meals:

Breakfast at Hotel. Embark on a sightseeing tour of Bikaner -Visit Junagadh Fort with 986 m long wall with 37 bastions and 2 gateways and the 16th century; Bhand Sagar Jain Temple with its beautiful carvings and pictures of Jain Tirthankars as its highlights. Visit to the local bazaar, famous for its snack shops – you may taste the famous sweets and snacks of Bikaner. Afternoon, visit Lalgarh Palace – 3 kms north of the city centre, this red sandstone palace was built by Maharaja Ganga Singh, in the memory of his father Maharaja Lal Singh. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6Bikaner/Jaisalmer (325 kms – 7 hrs drive)

Meals:

Breakfast at Hotel. Drive to Jaisalmer in the morning that will take about seven hours. Spend the evening at leisure or go for shopping in the city market. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jaisalmer.

Day 7Jaisalmer

Meals:

After breakfast at Hotel, Go on a guided sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer. The highlights of the tour are the Jain temples and the Museum displaying the robes and artifacts belonging to the royal family inside the Sonar Quila, the beautifully carved Patwon ki haveli, Gadisar Lake, the mesmerizing views of Sam sand dunes at sunset. Dinner & overnight stay at the tented accommodation in camps.

Day 8Jaisalmer/Jodhpur (310 kms – 6 hrs drive)

Meals:

Leave for Jodhpur after breakfast and enjoy the views of the real desert life such as rural Rajasthani women in their colorful long skirts and number of pots balanced on their head and men in colorful turbans tied in different ways to represent their caste and community. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jodhpur.

Day 9Jodhpur

Meals:

After breakfast in Jodhpur at the Hotel, visit the Mandore gardens and Umaid Bhawan Palace, which is still serving as the private residence of the royal family of Jodhpur. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, the Clock Tower and the local markets. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 10Jodhpur/Udaipur (270 kms – 5.5 hrs drive)

Meals:

After breakfast at Hotel, drive to Udaipur. Arrive Udaipur and check in to Hotel. Overnight stay at Udaipur.

Day 11Udaipur

Meals:

After breakfast go on a sight seeing tour of Udaipur. Visit the City Palace -largest complex palace in Rajasthan; Jagdish Temple -Built in 1651 by Maharana Jagat Singh. The temple is located at about 150 metres north of the entrance to the city palace. The temple is designed in Indo-Aryan style and is the largest and most beautiful temple of Udaipur; Lake Palace Founded in 1568 by Maharana Udai Singh, a fantasy island palace shimmering on mirror-calm Lake Pichola, the Lake Palace is one of the most romantic hotels in the world. You can also visit Sahelion ki badi, Jag Mandir, Pratap Memorial and the Fateh Sagar Lake. Overnight stay at Hotel in Udaipur.

Day 12Udaipur/Jaipur (405 kms – 9 hrs drive)

Meals:

Early morning leave for Jaipur. A very long drive – about 9 hrs. Arrive Jaipur, check-in to Hotel and rest. Overnight stay at Jaipur.

Day 13Jaipur

Meals:

After the breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Jaipur, the Pink City. See the 18th century astronomical observatory called Jantar Mantar, the elegant City Palace which serves as the private residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur and houses a heritage hotel and a royal museum with a rich collection of royal paintings, costumes, jewelry, arms and ammunitions. Afternoon – Free for Shopping, you can go for exploring the markets of Jaipur to find the famed tie-and-dye apparels, paintings, blue enameled pottery and jewels. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 14Jaipur/Agra (230 kms – 5 hrs drive)

Meals:

After a mouth-watering heavy breakfast, drive to Agra; enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri. The highlights of the fort are its several palace complexes, a royal museum, 17th century Shish Mahal that presents a delectable fusion of Hindu and Islamic architectural styles, Diwan-e-Aam and Maharaja Man Singh's Palace. You will reach Agra by late afternoon, once in Agra, have lunch at a city restaurant, after which you can visit the famous Agra fort. After that, check in at the Hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel in Agra.

Day 15Agra/Delhi (210 kms – 4 hrs drive)/Departure

Meals:

After breakfast at hotel, check out and visit the famous Taj Mahal, a mausoleum built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Proceed to Delhi. At Delhi you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight for onward destination.

Transportation & Private Transfers:

Transportation cost covers all the domestic airfare of economy class with airport tax, train tickets between the cities as the itinerary specified.

 

Transfer between airports, railway station, hotels and scenic spots for sightseeing around the cities that are specified by the itinerary with private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.

 

Entrance Fees:

All entrance fees to the scenic spots listed in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by private tour guides depends on the real-time local circumstances wheather are beyond the control of Access China Travel. We will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible. 

 

Normal Meals:

All normal meals as the itinerary specified: B = breakfast, L = Lunch, D = dinner in local  restaurant. Breakfasts are served in hotel, breakfasts have Chinese or Western style for your option; Lunches are served in carefully selected quality local Chinese restaurants with best service, your lunches will be ordered by your guide catering to your preferences within normal standard. Dinners as the itinerary specified will be also served in local Chinese restaurants. The meal quotation is normalized. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, famous rare dishes, Indian food or more, please inform us in advance. For the unspecified dinners, you will have dinner on your own. Feel free to ask your local guide for suggestions or recommendation.

 

Private Sightseeing Escort:

Normal sightseeing activities as the itinerary listed will be escorted with English-speaking guide. The English-speaking guide and driver in each city are with you throughout the entire itinerary around that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.

 

Hotel Accommodation:

Hotel service criterion: two adults share on one standard twin/double-bed room; solo traveler who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room assigned is required for extra single supplement rate. A single room is available on prior request at an additional cost; if a recommended hotel unavailable, it will be replaced by one of the same class. All hotels as the itinerary listed serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.

 

Tour Arrangements:

The tour cost includes the planning, handling, booking, operation and communication charges.
