Day 1Arrival in Beijing

Welcome to China! Upon arrival in Beijing, your local guide will meet you and escort you to check in your hotel.

Day 2Beijing

Sites Visited: The Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Beijing Hutongs

Today tour will start with a morning visit Tiananmen Square, the world's biggest city plaza. Then walk to the marvelous "Egg" (National Centre for the Performing Arts) to take some pictures from its outside; subsequently, go to the Forbidden City, the most complete imperial palace in China.

In the late afternoon visit to Beijing Hutongs for a rickshaw ride to explore Beijing's charming lanes. During Hutong Tour, You will visit a local family and experience what their life is like.


The Forbidden City

Day 3Beijing

Sites Visited: Ding Tomb, Mutianyu Great Wall

After breakfast, drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall (about 80 km, 1.5hours) where you will experience at first hand the wonder of the Great Wall. After hiking on the Mutianyu Great Wall for about 1 or 2 hours, then move on to visit the Sacred Way, one of the Ming Tombs with underground palace;

On the way back, you may make a stop at the Beijing Olympic Village to take some pictures of the world-famed "Bird’s Nest" and the "Water Cube" from the outside. Tonight you will taste the most famous delicious dish in Beijing, Peking Roast Duck. Enjoy yourself! Complete today’ s tour and driven back to your hotel.

Kind Note: At Mutianyu Great Wall, the cable car up and sliding down you can choose and pay by yourselves there. Pay Beijing Duck meal yourselves at the restaurant.


Ding Tomb

Day 4Beijing

Sites Visited: Beihai Park, Temple of Heaven, Yonghe Lamasery

Firstly, will go to visit Temple of Heaven, where emperors in ancient times offered sacrifices yearly to Heaven for a good harvest and fortune. Then go to visit the charming Beihai Park to appreciate the beautiful White Pagoda and the Nine-Dragon Screen. Lunch will be arranged at a local family. If you like, you can learn to cook some Chinese dumplings by yourself(this is optional programs).

After lunch, you will move on to the majestic Yonghe Lama Temple, the largest and best-preserved lamasery in Beijing. Then, you will walk 10 minutes to the Confucius Temple - where emperors of the past worshiped Confucius, as well as the Imperial College at Guozijian- an ancient imperial colleague for high-ranking scholars in history. After the tour, our guide will send you back to the hotel.


Beihai Park

Day 5Beijing Departure

Sites Visited: The Summer Palace

Today after breakfast, you will marvel at the splendid Summer Palace, the former royal garden, it is the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden.

After the tour, our guide will escort you to the airport for your flight to your next destination.

Price Includes:

Transportation & Private Transfers:

Transportation cost covers all the domestic airfare of economy class with airport tax, train tickets between the cities as the itinerary specified.

 

Transfer between airports, railway station, hotels and scenic spots for sightseeing around the cities that are specified by the itinerary with private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.

 

Entrance Fees:

All entrance fees to the scenic spots listed in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by private tour guides depends on the real-time local circumstances wheather are beyond the control of Access China Travel. We will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible. 

 

Normal Meals:

All normal meals as the itinerary specified: B = breakfast, L = Lunch, D = dinner in local  restaurant. Breakfasts are served in hotel, breakfasts have Chinese or Western style for your option; Lunches are served in carefully selected quality local Chinese restaurants with best service, your lunches will be ordered by your guide catering to your preferences within normal standard. Dinners as the itinerary specified will be also served in local Chinese restaurants. The meal quotation is normalized. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, famous rare dishes, Indian food or more, please inform us in advance. For the unspecified dinners, you will have dinner on your own. Feel free to ask your local guide for suggestions or recommendation.

 

Private Sightseeing Escort:

Normal sightseeing activities as the itinerary listed will be escorted with English-speaking guide. The English-speaking guide and driver in each city are with you throughout the entire itinerary around that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.

 

Hotel Accommodation:

Hotel service criterion: two adults share on one standard twin/double-bed room; solo traveler who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room assigned is required for extra single supplement rate. A single room is available on prior request at an additional cost; if a recommended hotel unavailable, it will be replaced by one of the same class. All hotels as the itinerary listed serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.

 

Tour Arrangements:

The tour cost includes the planning, handling, booking, operation and communication charges.

Price Excludes:

International airfare or train tickets for entry or exit China, unless that is noted or required otherwise.

Any extra cost caused by the changes of natural disasters, fires, weather, government and local authority orders, politics, strikes, war, riots, quarantine, custom regulations; as well as tourist law violation, accident damages or injury incurred out of Access China Travel control.
