Day 1Arrival in Huangshan

Welcome to Anhui Province! Upon arrival in Huangshan City, your local guide will meet you at airport or railway station and escort you to check in the hotel in Huangshan. Free night leisure on Tunxi Ancient Street.

Day 2Huangshan Yellow Mountain

Sites Visited: Huangshan Mountain

After breakfast, you will start a full day tour by a morning transfer to Yellow Mountain where you will take a cable car to the top of the mountain. Then go on a rail hiking to see Brush Pen Peak, Lion Peak, Xihai Grand Canyon and more attractions. You can enjoy a sunset view here (depends on the weather). Stay overnight on mountain.


Huangshan Mountain

Day 3Huangshan/Yi County

Get up very early in the morning to catch the view the spectacular sunrise. After breakfast at your hotel you will enjoy morning sightseeing until the cable car down from Mountain.

After lunch, you will drive to Yixian County to visit Hongcun Village, the UNESCO heritage site is well-known for the picturesque landscape and the long history of over 800 years. The 138 buildings of the Ming and Qing dynasties (14th to early 20th century) were all constructed in the traditional Anhui style, which features white walls, grey or black roofs and rising eaves. Stay overnight in Yixian County.


Hongcun Village

Day 4She Count/Huangshan

After breakfast, you will pay a morning visit to the ancient Nanping Village, a village in maze. The ancient houses and charming scenery make it a famous movie shooting base since 1990's. Among all the ancient buildings in Nanping Village, the eight ancestral halls are the most splendid. They are orderly arranged along the 200-meter (219 yards) main axis of the village, known as the museum of Chinese ancestral hall.

Then, you will be transferred to Shexian County to see the Tangyue Archways. Constructed during the Ming and Qing dynasties, the seven magnificent archways are not only a group of delicate ancient buildings but also the symbols of the merits of the local people: loyalty, filial piety, chastity and righteousness.

Optioal programs as below for local special experience in the afternoon, please choose one or more:
1. Learn bamboo carvings for 2 hours
2. Learn bamboo strip kniting for 1 hours
3. Learn traditional plant dye for 1-2 hours
4. Learn about Hui ink making at Hukaiwen Ink Factory for 1 hours
5. Hui cuisine cooking at local farmer home for 2 hours

As the tour ends, you will return to Huangshan City for overnight.

Day 5Huangshan Departure

Meals: B

After breakfast, you will have a morning relax until transfer to the airport for your flight or train to next destination.

Price Includes:

Transportation & Private Transfers:

Transportation cost covers all the domestic airfare of economy class with airport tax, train tickets between the cities as the itinerary specified.

 

Transfer between airports, railway station, hotels and scenic spots for sightseeing around the cities that are specified by the itinerary with private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.

 

Entrance Fees:

All entrance fees to the scenic spots listed in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by private tour guides depends on the real-time local circumstances wheather are beyond the control of Access China Travel. We will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible. 

 

Normal Meals:

All normal meals as the itinerary specified: B = breakfast, L = Lunch, D = dinner in local  restaurant. Breakfasts are served in hotel, breakfasts have Chinese or Western style for your option; Lunches are served in carefully selected quality local Chinese restaurants with best service, your lunches will be ordered by your guide catering to your preferences within normal standard. Dinners as the itinerary specified will be also served in local Chinese restaurants. The meal quotation is normalized. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, famous rare dishes, Indian food or more, please inform us in advance. For the unspecified dinners, you will have dinner on your own. Feel free to ask your local guide for suggestions or recommendation.

 

Private Sightseeing Escort:

Normal sightseeing activities as the itinerary listed will be escorted with English-speaking guide. The English-speaking guide and driver in each city are with you throughout the entire itinerary around that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.

 

Hotel Accommodation:

Hotel service criterion: two adults share on one standard twin/double-bed room; solo traveler who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room assigned is required for extra single supplement rate. A single room is available on prior request at an additional cost; if a recommended hotel unavailable, it will be replaced by one of the same class. All hotels as the itinerary listed serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
