Day 1Arrival/Beijing

Upon your arrival at Beijing's airport, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or explore the city.

Day 2Beijing

Sites Visited: The Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven

After having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to visit the incredible Forbidden City, home to China’s Emperors for over 500 years. After lunch, You will then be drive to visit the magnificent Temple of Heaven, which was where China’s Emperors prayed to heaven. In the evening you will be mesmerized by a Peking (Beijing) Opera performance in Beijing's famous Liyuan Theatre.

Note: The opera will have English and French subtitles.

The Forbidden City

Day 3Beijing

Sites Visited: The Sacred Road, Badaling Great Wall

After having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to visit the majestic Great Wall (Badaling Section). After lunch next to the Great Wall you will be driven to visit the Sacred Road, the road leading to the tombs of the Ming Dynasty's Emperors. You will then visit the Ding Tomb, the only excavated imperialMing Dynasty Tomb. In the evening you will be taken to enjoy a Peking (Beijing) Duck Banquet at the oldest and most famous Peking (Beijing) Duck restaurant in China.


The Sacred Road

Day 4Beijing/Harbin

Sites Visited: The Summer Palace

After having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the exquisite Summer Palace, where you will marvel at the opulence of this imperial summer getaway. After seeing how local Beijingers have been living for centuries, you will be driven to the airport for your flight to Harbin. Upon arriving in Harbin, your local guide will meet you and escort you to check in your hotel.

Sites Visited: Saint Sophia Cathedral Church, Sun Island Park, Harbin Ice & Snow Amusement World

In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, your tour guide will meet you and you are going to have an amazing tour for this city. At the first stop, it is the St. Sophia Church, a typical representative of the Byzantine architecture which is also the biggest Orthodox Church in the far eastern area. Then you will go to visit the Sun Island Scenic Area with all kinds of great snow sculpture. After you will go to the Harbin Ice and Snow World. It is one of the world's biggest ice architecture parks. Then you will go to see the Winter Swimming Performance and go to the Russian Souvenir Shop.

Day 6Harbin/Shanghai

Sites Visited: Central Pedestrian Street, Stalin Park

In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, you will start to go to the Stalin Park. Here you will see the Songhua Riverside-Rime trees and the Flood Control Monument to memorize the event of thousands of people fighting with the flood in 1957. Then you will go to the Central Avenue. This street is famous known as its architecture style which combines oriental and European styles. Then you will go to visit the Local product Shop. In the evening you will be driven to the airport for you flight to Shanghai. After you arrive in Shanghai your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest day is for you leisure.


Central Pedestrian Street

Day 7Shanghai

Sites Visited: Yuyuan Garden , Yuyuan Market, The Bund Shanghai, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Nanjing Road

In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the Yuyuan Garden, the only ancient traditional Chinese garden left in Shanghai. You will then stroll through the streets lined with traditional styled architecture of the Yuyuan Market located outside the garden and get a glimpse into the local’s lifestyle. You will then be driven to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower to get a bird's eye view of Shanghai from within its unique architectural orbs. After visiting the tower, you will stroll along The Bund, known as a museum of Western architecture, and the nearby Nanjing Road, the No.1 shopping street in China. In the evening you will be driven to the airport for your flight home.

Price Includes:

Transportation & Private Transfers:

Transportation cost covers all the domestic airfare of economy class with airport tax, train tickets between the cities as the itinerary specified.

 

Transfer between airports, railway station, hotels and scenic spots for sightseeing around the cities that are specified by the itinerary with private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.

 

Entrance Fees:

All entrance fees to the scenic spots listed in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by private tour guides depends on the real-time local circumstances wheather are beyond the control of Access China Travel. We will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible. 

 

Normal Meals:

All normal meals as the itinerary specified: B = breakfast, L = Lunch, D = dinner in local  restaurant. Breakfasts are served in hotel, breakfasts have Chinese or Western style for your option; Lunches are served in carefully selected quality local Chinese restaurants with best service, your lunches will be ordered by your guide catering to your preferences within normal standard. Dinners as the itinerary specified will be also served in local Chinese restaurants. The meal quotation is normalized. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, famous rare dishes, Indian food or more, please inform us in advance. For the unspecified dinners, you will have dinner on your own. Feel free to ask your local guide for suggestions or recommendation.

 

Private Sightseeing Escort:

Normal sightseeing activities as the itinerary listed will be escorted with English-speaking guide. The English-speaking guide and driver in each city are with you throughout the entire itinerary around that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.

 

Hotel Accommodation:

Hotel service criterion: two adults share on one standard twin/double-bed room; solo traveler who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room assigned is required for extra single supplement rate. A single room is available on prior request at an additional cost; if a recommended hotel unavailable, it will be replaced by one of the same class. All hotels as the itinerary listed serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.

The tour cost includes the planning, handling, booking, operation and communication charges.
