Day 1Arrival/Shanghai

Upon arriving at Shanghai's airport, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or explore this amazing metropolis.

Day 2Shanghai

Sites Visited: Yuyuan Garden , Yuyuan Market, Shanghai World Financial Center, Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Acrobatic Show

In the morning after breakfast, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to visit the Shanghai Museum, arguably the best museum in China. After your visit to the museum you will be taken to the Shanghai World Financial Center to get a bird's eye view of Shanghai from its observation decks. After lunch on the banks of the Huangpu River, you will be driven to the spectacular ancient Yuyuan Garden, the only surviving ancient garden in Shanghai. After strolling through the amazing garden, you will visit the Yuyuan Market located outside. The market is a great place to see how locals live and shop.
Optional: In the evening you are feel free to choose to be stunned by the edge of your seat excitement of Chinese Acrobatics at the Shanghai Centre Theatre.


Yuyuan Garden

Day 3Shanghai/Suzhou

Sites Visited: Master Of Nets Garden, The Pan Gate, Humble Administrator Garden

In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the city of Suzhou. When you arrive in Suzhou, the first stop will be the Pan Gate, an example of an ancient city gate and the only surviving water land gate in China. After lunch you will then be drive to the Humble Administrator's Garden, one of the four most famous traditional Chinese gardens in Suzhou. You will then be driven to visit another spectacular garden, the Master of Nets Garden.

Day 4Suzhou/Shanghai

Sites Visited: Lingering Garden, Grand Canal, No.1 Silk Factory

After you have had your breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the dock for your cruise down the Grand Canal. The cruise will take you past ancient homes and shops. It is a fantastic way to relax and experience the local flavor of Suzhou. After your cruise, you will be taken to the No.1 Silk Factory to see how silkworms create silk which is woven into amazing objects. You will then be taken to the Lingering Garden, another of Suzhou's four most famous traditional Chinese gardens. In the evening you will be driven back to Shanghai.

Day 5Shanghai/Huangshan

Sites Visited: The Bund Shanghai, Nanjing Road

In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to The Bund, known as a Museum of Western Architecture, this fantastic street is lined with western styled buildings built during the late Qing Dynasty. You will then visit Nanjing Road, known as the No.1 Shopping Street in China and witness for yourself the vibe of this amazing city. Your local guide will then escort you to the airport for your flight to the city of Huangshan. Upon your arrival in Huangshan City, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax.


The Bund Shanghai

Day 6Huangshan

Sites Visited: Huangshan Mountain

In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to Huangshan (Yellow) Mountain. You will take a cable car to the top of the mountain. You will then check into your hotel and have lunch. After lunch, you will begin your unforgettable tour of the mountain. You will first visit Brush Pen Peak, followed by Begin to Believe Peak. You will be truly awed by the beauty of Huangshan (Yellow) Mountain, its ancient pines, bizarre rock formations and flora and fauna. You will then climb to the Xihai Grand Canyon, perhaps the most beautiful section of the mountain. In the evening you will watch the sun set from the Cloud Dispelling Pavilion.

Day 7Huangshan

Sites Visited: Huangshan Mountain, Tunxi Ancient Street

In the morning your guide will waken you early to catch Huangshan's magical sunrise. You will then have your breakfast in the hotel before continuing your tour of Huangshan (Yellow) Mountain. You will pass Flying Rock, Brightness Apex, and Turtle Peak before taking the cable car down the mountain, where your car will be waiting. You will then be driven back to the city of Huangshan to visit the Ink Stick Factory which will demonstrate for you how China's famous inks were created using natural ingredients. These inks are used in traditional Chinese paintings. You will then visit the Tunxi Ancient Street before checking into your hotel for the evening.


Huangshan Mountain

Day 8Huangshan/Xidi/Hongcun/Jingdezhen

Sites Visited: Hongcun Village, Xidi Village

After having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the ancient villages of Hongcun and Xidi. These two ancient villages have remained virtually untouched for centuries and their unbelievable architecture and fengshui design never fails to enchant visitors. After visiting these beautiful villages, you will be driven to Jingdezhen by car. Upon your arrival in Jingdezhen, you will be driven to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax.


Hongcun Village

Day 9Jingdezhen/Shanghai

After having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the Ceramic History Museum to see this history of the porcelains crafted in Jingdezhen for almost 2,000 years. Until the end of the Qing Dynasty, the porcelains created here were meant for the use of the imperial family. Located near the museum are many workshops where artisans create porcelain works of art using traditional methods. After visiting the museum you will visit the Hutian Ancient Kiln Site to see how porcelains were crafted in ancient times. You will then visit the Ceramics Factory to watch artists creating works of art using modern porcelain manufacturing techniques. After your visit in Jingdezhen you will be driven to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon your arrival in Shanghai, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax.

Day 10Shanghai/Departure

After having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the airport for your flight home.

Transportation & Private Transfers:

Transportation cost covers all the domestic airfare of economy class with airport tax, train tickets between the cities as the itinerary specified.

 

Transfer between airports, railway station, hotels and scenic spots for sightseeing around the cities that are specified by the itinerary with private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.

 

Entrance Fees:

All entrance fees to the scenic spots listed in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by private tour guides depends on the real-time local circumstances wheather are beyond the control of Access China Travel. We will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible. 

 

Normal Meals:

All normal meals as the itinerary specified: B = breakfast, L = Lunch, D = dinner in local  restaurant. Breakfasts are served in hotel, breakfasts have Chinese or Western style for your option; Lunches are served in carefully selected quality local Chinese restaurants with best service, your lunches will be ordered by your guide catering to your preferences within normal standard. Dinners as the itinerary specified will be also served in local Chinese restaurants. The meal quotation is normalized. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, famous rare dishes, Indian food or more, please inform us in advance. For the unspecified dinners, you will have dinner on your own. Feel free to ask your local guide for suggestions or recommendation.

 

Private Sightseeing Escort:

Normal sightseeing activities as the itinerary listed will be escorted with English-speaking guide. The English-speaking guide and driver in each city are with you throughout the entire itinerary around that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.

 

Hotel Accommodation:

Hotel service criterion: two adults share on one standard twin/double-bed room; solo traveler who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room assigned is required for extra single supplement rate. A single room is available on prior request at an additional cost; if a recommended hotel unavailable, it will be replaced by one of the same class. All hotels as the itinerary listed serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.

The tour cost includes the planning, handling, booking, operation and communication charges.
