Day 1Arrival in Shanghai

Upon arrival at Shanghai’s airport, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day for you to have a relax, or explore this amazing metropolis.

Day 2Shanghai/Hangzhou

Sites Visited: China Tea Museum, Dragon Well Tea, 18 Imperial Dragon Well Tea Trees

After you have had your breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to a traditional Tea Factory where you will help the field hands pick Dragon Well Tea. After picking tea, the tea leaves must be left outside to dry naturally.After you will be driven to the 18 Imperial Dragon Well Tea Trees and sip Dragon Well (Longjin) Tea in beautiful traditional pavilions located on the mountainside nestled amongst tea trees. The 18 tea trees are hundreds of years old and it is reputed to be these very trees that the Qianlong Emperor personally picked tea from. After lunch you will visit the Hangzhou Tea Museum (Monday closely).

Day 3Hangzhou/Shanghai/Xiamen

Sites Visited: West Lake

In the morning, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the West Lake, the most famous lake in china. You will be enthralled by the many legends that have made this spot one of the most popular destinations for the Chinese people.

After You will take an afternoon train back to Shanghai for the flight to Xiamen.

Day 4Xiamen/Anxi

After breakfast, your tour guide will meet you and you will be driven (about 2 hours) to Anxi, the capital of Tieguanyin. First you will visit Xiping Village, the home of the original Tieguanyin bush. Then visit Tieguanyin Cultural Garden and Weiyin Tea Factory to know the history and production methods of Tieh-Kuan-Yin Tea. In the evening you will be back to Xiamen. Back to Xianmen.

Day 5Xiamen/Mountain Wuyi

Meals: B,L

Sightseeing tour of South Putuo Temple, Island Ring Road, Gulang Island, Shuzhuang Garden and the Piano Museum. After sightseeing in Xiamen, take the night flight to the Wuyi Mountain.

Day 6Wuyishan Mountain

After having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the Wuyi Mountain Tea Factory to see how China's Wuyi Cliff Tea is picked and processed. The process has remained unchanged for centuries. You will be able to pick your own tea. In the factory you will sample Wuyi Rock Tea and Tie Guanyin (Iron Goddess) Tea and learn about the traditional Gongfu Chinese tea ceremony.

Day 7Wuyishan/Xiamen

After you have had breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the Tea Graduate School to learn about the history of Wuyi Rock Tea and planting methods. After lunch you will board a bamboo raft for a cruise down the gorgeous Nine Bend River. While cruising down the river, the beauty that surrounds you will make you feel as though you have stepped into a traditional Chinese landscape painting. In the evening you will be driven to the airport for your flight to Xiamen. Upon your arrival in Xiamen, your local guide will meet you and you will be driven to your hotel.


Wuyishan Moutain

Day 8Wuyishan/Xiamen/Kunming

Meals: B,L

Our local guide and driver will pick you up at train station and escort you to Xiamen airport for the flight to Kunming. Upon arrival in Kunming, your tour guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel for a rest. Then you can have a free leisure around the city for the rest of the day.

Day 9Kunming/Xishuangbanna

Meals: B,L

Today you will start a full day tour to visit two largest tea leaves markets in Kunming. After a full day business tour, you will be transfered for a night flights to Xishuangbanna.

Day 10Xishuangbanna/Mengla County Pu'er

Meals: B,L,D
Sites Visited: Xishuangbanna Tea Fields

After breakfast, you will take a 2 hours’ drive from Xishuangbanna to Mengla County Pu'er city. On the way you will visit local Tea Art Museum, Tea Museum, Tea Factory, Dadugang Tea Garden, Ancient Jinuo Tea Mountain.


Xishuangbanna Tea Fields

Day 11Mengla/Yiwu/Jinghong

Meals: B,L,D

Today tour will start with a morning visit Pu’er Tea Mountain in Yiwu Town where Six Ancient Pu’er Tea Mountains sits and is regarded as the origin of Pu’er Tea. Then drive back to Jinghong city.

Day 12Xishuangbanna/Kunming Departure

Meals: B

After breakfast, you will have a free relax until your guide meets you and transfer you to the airport for your flight to next destination.

Transportation & Private Transfers:

Transportation cost covers all the domestic airfare of economy class with airport tax, train tickets between the cities as the itinerary specified.

 

Transfer between airports, railway station, hotels and scenic spots for sightseeing around the cities that are specified by the itinerary with private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.

 

Entrance Fees:

All entrance fees to the scenic spots listed in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by private tour guides depends on the real-time local circumstances wheather are beyond the control of Access China Travel. We will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible. 

 

Normal Meals:

All normal meals as the itinerary specified: B = breakfast, L = Lunch, D = dinner in local  restaurant. Breakfasts are served in hotel, breakfasts have Chinese or Western style for your option; Lunches are served in carefully selected quality local Chinese restaurants with best service, your lunches will be ordered by your guide catering to your preferences within normal standard. Dinners as the itinerary specified will be also served in local Chinese restaurants. The meal quotation is normalized. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, famous rare dishes, Indian food or more, please inform us in advance. For the unspecified dinners, you will have dinner on your own. Feel free to ask your local guide for suggestions or recommendation.

 

Private Sightseeing Escort:

Normal sightseeing activities as the itinerary listed will be escorted with English-speaking guide. The English-speaking guide and driver in each city are with you throughout the entire itinerary around that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.

 

Hotel Accommodation:

Hotel service criterion: two adults share on one standard twin/double-bed room; solo traveler who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room assigned is required for extra single supplement rate. A single room is available on prior request at an additional cost; if a recommended hotel unavailable, it will be replaced by one of the same class. All hotels as the itinerary listed serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
