Day 1Arrival/Shanghai

Upon your arrival in Shanghai, your local guide will meet you and you will be driven to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or explore Shanghai on your own.

Optional: In the evening, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to enjoy a fantastic Dim-sum Dinner followed by the edge of your seat excitement of the Acrobatics Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre. The acrobatic troupe is the best and most famous in China and has performed all around the world.

Day 2Shanghai

Sites Visited: Yuyuan Garden , Yuyuan Market, The Bund Shanghai, Shanghai Museum, Nanjing Road

After having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the beautiful Yuyuan Garden. Built during the Ming Dynasty, this gorgeous example of a classic Chinese garden is the last remaining ancient garden in Shanghai. After visiting the garden you will visit the Yuyuan Market located outside the garden. The market is a favorite with locals and visitors alike and is a great way to see a little bit of local life in Shanghai. You will then be driven to the Shanghai Museum, the arguably the best museum in China. After visiting the museum you will then be driven to The Bund. Known as a museum of western architecture, The Bund is lined with western designed buildings built during the late 19th century. You will then stroll down Nanjing Road, the number one shopping street in China. Nanjing Road is famous for having something for everyone and should not be missed during a visit to Shanghai

Day 3Shanghai

In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the Binhai Golf Club for 18 rounds of golf. This Par-72 course was designed by Peter Thomson. The Lakes course was opened in 2000. This course's design makes for a highly enjoyable, yet testing round of golf.

Day 4Shanghai/Suzhou

Sites Visited: Lingering Garden, Master Of Nets Garden, Grand Canal, No.1 Silk Factory

In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the train station for your train to Suzhou. Upon your arrival in Suzhou, your local guide will meet you and you will be driven to the Lingering Garden, one of the four most famous Chinese traditional gardens. After visiting the garden, you will be driven to the No.1 Silk Factory to discover how silk is created and processed into magnificent silk cloth. After lunch you will be driven to the Master of Nets Garden. Although smaller than the Lingering Garden, the garden's design is magnificent. After visiting the garden, you will be taken for your Grand Canal Cruise. Your small boat will slowing cruise down the ancient canal past ancient shops, houses, and give you a glimpse into the life of the local people as they have lived for centuries.

Day 5Suzhou

In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, you will be driven to the Suzhou Sunrise Golf Club. This beautiful Par-72 course was designed by golf legend Jack Nicklaus along the shores of Lake Yangcheng. The undulating greens and unique design of the greens offer an exhilarating round of golf.

Day 6Suzhou/Shanghai/Beijing

In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the train station for your mag-lev train to Shanghai. Upon arriving in Shanghai, your local guide will meet you and you will be driven to the airport for your flight to Beijing. Upon your arrival in Beijing, your local guide will meet you and you will be driven to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or step out into the city on your own.

Sites Visited: The Forbidden City

In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the Huatang International Golf Course for your tee time. The Huatang International Golf Course was designed by Graham Marsh and is considered to be one of the finest courses in the Beijing area and is ranked as one of the Top 10 courses in China. The course is known for its clever bunkering to test all levels of golfers. After 18 holes of golf, you will be driven back to the center of the city for a visit to The Forbidden City, which was home to China's Emperors for 500 years.

Optional: In the evening you will be driven to the Liyuan Theatre to witness the colorful spectacle that is Peking (Beijing) Opera.
Note: The opera will have English and Japanese subtitles.

Sites Visited: Temple of Heaven, Badaling Great Wall

In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, your local guide will meet you and you will be driven to The Great Wall (Badaling Section). The Great Wall is a testament to man's ingenuity and although commonly seen in photos, people are never prepared for how magnificent it truly is. After visiting The Great Wall, you will be driven to the Temple of Heaven, the temple where the emperor would pray to heaven for good harvests. The magnificent temple complex is huge and its architecture is world famous.

Optional: In the evening you will be taken for an incredible Peking (Beijing) Duck Dinner at Beijing's oldest and most famous duck restaurant.

Sites Visited: Ding Tomb, The Sacred Road

In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, your local guide will meet you and you will be driven to Beijing International Golf Club for 18 holes of golf. The Par-72 course was designed by Nihon Shinko. It is a very challenging layout that uses the natural environment to its advantage. The fairways are all over 500 with the most difficult hole being No.7 which is a 405 yard par 4 hole. After your round of golf, you will be driven to the Sacred Road, the road leading to the Ming Dynasty Imperial Tombs. The road is lined with huge carvings of officials, animals, and mythological creatures. After strolling down the road you will visit the Ding Tomb, the only imperial tomb to be excavated. You will marvel at the treasures buried with the Yongle Emperor.

Day 10Beijing/Xian

Sites Visited: Terra Cotta Warriors & Horses

In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, your local guide will meet you and you will be driven to the airport for your flight to Xian. Upon your arrival in Xian, your local guide will meet you and you will be driven to visit the incredible Terracotta Warriors, which are considered one of the greatest archaeological treasures ever discovered.

Optional: In the evening you will have a special Jiaozi (Dumpling) Banquet, followed by the Tang Dynasty Show which brings the pageantry and color of the Tang Dynasty to life.

Day 11Xian/Kunming

Sites Visited: Big Wild Goose Pagoda

In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, your local guide will meet you and you will be driven to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The pagoda is located in the center of a huge ancient temple complex dotted with ancient carvings and small gardens. The pagoda was built to house Buddhist Sutras brought back to China. After visiting the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, you will be driven to the airport for your flight to Kunming. Upon arriving in Kunming, your local guide will meet you and you will be driven to your hotel.

Sites Visited: Stone Forest

In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, your local guide will meet you and you will be driven to the Spring City Mountain Course for 18 holes of golf. The course, which was designed by Jack Nicklaus, utilizes the natural terrain in its holes with side-hill lies and elevated greens and tees. This course, which is consistently ranked as the No.1 Resort in all Asia is a challenging course for beginners and the more seasoned players. After finishing your round of golf, you will be driven to Kunming's Stone Forest. The bizarre rock formations of the Stone Forest were created over millennia of rain and weather. It is said that no visit to Kunming is complete without visiting the Stone Forest.

Day 13Kunming/Hong Kong

In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, your local guide will meet you and you will be driven to the Spring City Lake Course. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and offers stunning views of the lake. The course is steeply sloping and is extremely challenging. The fairways pinch in quite tight at certain holes. This course, with its challenges and gorgeous scenery is a favorite amongst golfers. After you finish your round of golf, you will be driven to the airport for your flight to Hong Kong. Upon your arrival in Hong Kong, your local guide will meet you and you will be driven to your hotel.

Day 14Hong Kong

On this day you will be free to explore the amazing city of Hong Kong on your own.

Day 15Hong Kong/Departure

Meals: B

On this day you will be free until your guide meets you and escorts you to the airport for your flight home.

Transportation & Private Transfers:

Transportation cost covers all the domestic airfare of economy class with airport tax, train tickets between the cities as the itinerary specified.

 

Transfer between airports, railway station, hotels and scenic spots for sightseeing around the cities that are specified by the itinerary with private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.

Breakfasts are served in hotel, breakfasts have Chinese or Western style for your option; Lunches are served in carefully selected quality local Chinese restaurants with best service, your lunches will be ordered by your guide catering to your preferences within normal standard. Dinners as the itinerary specified will be also served in local Chinese restaurants. The meal quotation is normalized. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, famous rare dishes, Indian food or more, please inform us in advance. For the unspecified dinners, you will have dinner on your own. Feel free to ask your local guide for suggestions or recommendation.

 

Private Sightseeing Escort:

Normal sightseeing activities as the itinerary listed will be escorted with English-speaking guide. The English-speaking guide and driver in each city are with you throughout the entire itinerary around that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.

 

Hotel Accommodation:

Hotel service criterion: two adults share on one standard twin/double-bed room; solo traveler who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room assigned is required for extra single supplement rate. A single room is available on prior request at an additional cost; if a recommended hotel unavailable, it will be replaced by one of the same class. All hotels as the itinerary listed serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
