Day 1Arrival/ Shanghai

Upon your arrival at Beijing’s airport, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or explore the city.

In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the Yu Garden, the only ancient traditional Chinese garden left in Shanghai. You will then stroll through the streets lined with traditional styled architecture of the Yuyuan Market located outside the garden and get a glimpse into the local’s lifestyle. You will then be driven to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower to get a bird’s eye view of Shanghai from within its unique architectural orbs. After visiting the tower, you will stroll along the Bund, known as a museum of Western architecture, and the nearby Nanjing Road, the No.1 shopping street in China. You will then be driven to the Shanghai Museum, arguably the most comprehensive museum in China which will let you explore China’s colorful history.

Today you will visit the Jade Buddha Temple. After visiting the temple, you will head for Yichang by flight and be met with comfortable private transfer. Board onto the Cruise Ship for overnight.

Sites Visited: Three Gorges Dam

At 07:00 as the cruise leaves Yichang, your memorable Yangtze River tour begins. Enter the first gorge -Xiling Gorge. At about 14:00, you will take an excursion to the Three Gorges Dam, the larges hydro electric dam in the world. Captain's welcome party will be held this evening.

You will pass the Wu Gorge with its famous lofty and misty peaks. Later, disembark at Wushan for an excursion to the Three Little Gorges. The boat allows you to experience a speedy adventure and have a close look at mossy rocks, verdant plants, plank roads and precious animals. The unique songs of the local Tujia people are very impressive. Then you'll enter the last but grandest gorge- the Qutang Gorge. The river guide will talk about historic sites like Ancient Plank Road, Mengliang Stairway and the mysterious hanging coffins of the ancient Ba people.

In the morning after breakfast, your ship will dock for your shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City. Back on board and have lunch. The sailing continues to pass through the mountains of Eastern Sichuan. A Farewell Party tonight invites you to perform dancing or musical instruments with the cruise staff.

The ship is scheduled to arrive in Chongqing at around 08:30-09:00. Follow the notification to pack your luggage in advance. The guide will meet you on board and take you for a a short tour of the city until it is time for your flight to Chengdu. You will be met by the local guide outside the baggage claim area at Chengdu Airport and transferred to the hotel.

Sites Visited: Jinli Old Street, Wenshu Temple, Chengdu Giant Panda Base

Special Cultural Activity: Meet China’s living treasure, the Giant Panda, firsthand
After having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, where you will get a chance to see China’s living treasures first hand and if you wish have your photo taken with a Giant Panda cub. You will then visit the ancient Wenshu Temple and spend some time in its ancient tea house enjoying traditional Chinese tea and absorbing the local culture. After visiting the tea house you will be driven to the Jinli Old Street to mingle with the locals.
Note: Having your photo taken holding a Giant Panda cub has an extra fee which is not included on this itinerary’s price.

Day 9Chengdu/ Harbin

Sites Visited: Saint Sophia Cathedral Church, Dragon Tower, Central Pedestrian Street, Zhaolin Park, Harbin Ice Lantern Show

In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, you will be driven to the airport for your flight to Harbin. Upon your arrival in Harbin, you will be driven to visit the St. Sofia Church. With Byzantine style and meaning of 'God's wisdom' for name, the church looks so beautiful as if it had been made by God's hands. It was first built in 1907 and rebuilt into brick and wood structure in 1912. It is the largest Orthodox Church in the Far East. After visiting the St. Sofia Church. Afterwards, you will take a stroll at Central Street, which is the business center and most prosperous street of Harbin city. It's a good place to see architectural styles as well as for shopping and taste different Cuisine. After you will be driven to Zhaolin Park to view the Dragon Tower and Ice Lantern. The Dragon Tower is the 336-meter-high Heilongjiang broadcast and TV tower, combining traveling, entertainment and restaurant together. Ice Lantern Fair, also named the Ice Lantern Show, it is hold every year from 5th January to the end of February in Zhaolin Park. The park located in the downtown, it is a small and peaceful place. Still you can see pretty ice sculptures without many crowded. Especially at night when the ice sculptures are lit then which looks like a magical world.

Sites Visited: Sun Island Park, Harbin Ice & Snow Amusement World, Siberian Tiger Park, Harbin Ice & Snow Sculpture Festival

In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, you will be driven to Sun Island Scenic Area (Tai Yang Dao). It's a great place for escaping the hot summer with cool weather and nice scenery, flowers, lakes and cute animals in the forest. When it comes to winter the island will be covered by thick snow and there will be a world-famous snow sculpture show: International Snow Sculpture Art Expo. There are various of massive, huge snow sculptures which is so impressive and amazing.
Then you will make an safari-style adventure in the Siberian Tiger Park. Siberian Tiger Park located on the north bank of the Songhua River. It is the largest natural park for wild Siberian tigers of China, even in the world. There are over 500 Siberian tigers this park. Here you can see wild tigers closely and take some fantastic photos.
In the evening you will go to visit the Ice and Snow World. Located on the north bank of the Songhua River, the Ice and Snow Amusement World is a major attraction of Harbin Interactional Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival dunging the winter. There are full of awesome ice and snow sculptures created by artists from all around world. Kind note that please wear enough layers of proper clothes and warm shoes to keep you away form the freeze especially when you want to stay there longer to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
