Day 1Arrival in Chengdu

Upon arrival at Chengdu's airport, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or explore this city on your own. Wangjianglou Park is recommened for more relax time.

In Wangjianglou Park, you can follow the scenic paths to walk around the historic pavilions and halls built in honor of Xuetao, a female poet of the Tang Dynasty. The park is also home to Chongli Tower, with a four-story view of lush riverside bamboo and willows. Then like the local people, you may drink tea and have the famous Sichuan hot-pot for dinner inside the park.

Day 2Chengdu/Leshan/Mt. Emei

Meals: B,L

After breakfast, will transfer you to visit Huanglongxi Ancient Town which has 1,700 years of history. Then take bus to see the world's largest stone Leshan Giant Buddha. Then visit the Lingyun Temple, the ancient Plank Cliff Path and the Stele Forest. After visiting will take bus to Emeishan, stay overnight at the foot of Mt. Emei Mountain.

Day 3Mt. Emei/Chengdu

After breakfast will take cable car up the Mt. Emei. At the highest peak of the mountain, you will be amazed by the awe-inspiring view of Huazhang Temple and witness the breathtaking sea of clouds if it’s sunny. Then, go down to Wannian Temple parking lot by car. Take a cable car up to Wannian Temple at the middle of the mountain. Appreciate the most beautiful landscape of Mt. Emei in Qingyin Pavilion as you hike from Wannian Temple to Wuxiangang parking lot. Return to Chengdu by road from Mt. Emei.

Day 4Chengdu

This morning you will make a memorable visit to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. This facility is not only the most important panda scientific research center in the world, but also the home for more than 100 Giant Pandas. You will walk at leisure through the bamboo-framed paths and closely observe giant pandas of different ages eating bamboos, playing with each other, tumbling, and climbing trees. Be sure to not miss the chance to watch female pandas nursing their cubs in the nursery rooms! There is also a very informative Panda Museum where you can learn more scientific facts about Giant Pandas. Next, you will be taken to a hidden spiritual Buddhist temple in hustling downtown Chengdu, Wenshu Temple, where you will marvel at the exquisite Buddhist architecture, soak in the reverent atmosphere, and wander on the temple’s peaceful paths.

Chengdu is famous throughout China for its relaxing and leisurely pace and lifestyle, which will be demonstrated by a visit to the City’s Renmin Park. Sit down, order a pot of Chinese tea, have a casual chat with your friends and watch locals indulging themselves in different kinds of folk entertainment - napping, playing mahjong, disco dancing, and giving neck massages! Next will be an impressive visit to the famous Jinli Old Street. Time will steal away as you quietly walk on the lively streets full of delicious local snacks, delicate artifacts, interesting folk shows, and other activities.

Optional activity: In the evening, watch a wonderful performance of Sichuan Opera which includes folk opera, face changing, fire spitting, rolling lights, and other delightful entertainment (usually performs at 20:00~21:30).

After a little break, you will take a meaningful visit to Jinsha Site Museum. Constructed on the Jinsha ruin site which reveals the unique bronze civilization of the mysterious ancient Shu Kingdom (approximately 2900 - 3200 years ago), Jinsha Site Museum conserves the original expansive site for sacrifice as well as numerous ivory tusks and gold artifacts, including the symbol of China Culture Heritage – the Gold Sun and Immortal Bird.

Day 5Chengdu/Jiuzhaigou

After breakfast, your guide will meet you and transfer you to the airport to take the morning flight to Jiuzhaigou. Upon arriving at the Jiuzhaigou's airport, you will be transferred to visit Huanglong Valley. Famous for incredible calcified scenery, Huanglong is a 7.5 kilometers long, 1.5 kilometers wide gentle-slope valley on the Xuebao Peak (Xuebao Snow Mountain). Vast yellow travertine landforms exist in the valley, and look like a yellow dragon. This is how the valley gained the name as Huanglong (Yellow Dragon). The travertine scenery was created by the thousands years of geological evolution, including glacial revolution, terrane movement, chemical reaction, climate changing, etc. It covers a total length of 3.6 kilometers. At the top(3990m) of the valley lies the best highlight - Five-Color Ponds consisting of 693 ponds of different sizes, shapes, colors, just looking like beautiful emeralds.

To save your energy and time, you will take a quick and convenient cable car directly to the top, and then walk down the valley to enjoy the scenery. After about 4-hour sightseeing in Huanglong National Park, you will drive about two hours to Jiuzhaigou. Stay overnight in Jiuzhaigou.

High Altitude Tips: since the attractions of Huanglong National Park are located more than 3,000 meters above the sea level, travelers should prepare well for the high altitude sickness. Keep a good healthy condition before your tour and rest well especially the first night of arrival. When walking in the valley, don’t go too rush. If you feel hard to breathe, you can stop in the tourist service center to rest and get oxygen supply.

Day 6Jiuzhaigou

After breakfast at your hotel, your guide will meet you and transfer you to visit Jiuzhaigou Valley National Park for a full day sightseeing. Jiuzhaigou is famed for its most beautiful waterscape in China which is hidden in three beautiful valleys - Rize Valley, Shuzheng Valley and Zechawa Valley. It presents various color patterns of white, blue, green, turquoise and emerald in different season. It gets its name from having Nine Tibetan Fortified Villages in the region. It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1992. The fairyland is studded with colored ponds, waterfalls, terraces, the traditional Tibetan villages. We have two ways to visit the park on foot or by sightseeing bus. After dinner, you will have an optional activity - watch the local Tibetan Culture Show.

Useful Tips: 1) the cost for sightseeing bus is covered in the package; 2) if you want to have an in-depth Jiuzhaigou tour, you can plan a Two Days Walking Trip - Shuzheng Valley and Zechawa Valley for the D1 and Rize Valley for the D2.

Day 7Jiuzhaigou/Chengdu Departure

After you have had your breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the airport to take the flight to Chengdu or to your next destination.
