11 Provinces Build Integrated Golden Tourism Region in the Yangtze River Economic Belt
On October 11th, leaders from provincial and municipal tourism departments of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi, Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan, and Guizhou which are in the range of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, gathered in Shanghai and signed Tourism Industrial Cooperation Declaration of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, signifying the cities and provinces along the Yangtze River Economic Belt would integrate tourism resources, enhance tourism resources, and construct golden tourism regions together.
Hunan, Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou and other inland provinces located in the upstream and midstream of the Yangtze River have sound and excellent ecological environment and quite plentiful natural and cultural tourism resources which are attractive to tourists. While the midstream and downstream region of the Yangtze River with Shanghai as the leader and Anhui, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu as kernel, has large population and are important tourist resources in the Yangtze River Region even in China. The Yangtze River Economic Belt links the upstream, midstream and downstream regions, which are of great significance to the comprehensive development of tourism economy.
On the Tourism Industrial Cooperation Forum of the Yangtze River Economic Belt with the theme of “Win-win Cooperation, Negotiating Future” held in Shanghai on October 11th, relevant responsible officials from 11 provincial and municipal tourism bureaus conducted in-depth exchanges. These officials present determined to strengthen the tourism cooperation in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, construct an integrated public service tourism system in this zone, promote to build an opening, unified, prosperous, and orderly Yangtze River tourism market, avoid repeated construction in the nearby, highlight the full linkage and penetration of tourism elements, pay attention to the regional integration and industrial complement, and form the massive pattern of tourism integration development in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
