World Association of Chinese Cuisine Now Named As World Federation of China Catering Industry

World Association of Chinese Cuisine (WACC) has officially changed its name to World Federation of China Catering Industry (WFCCI) at a press conference held at the China Great Hall Hotel in Beijing on December 9th, 2015.

Founded in July 1991, WACC now has more than 500 member units, covering more than 40 countries and regions around the world. And now it is becoming a more and more important

organization of Chinese food industry.

In order to adapt to the global pattern of food industry, and to fulfill the leap from Chinese cooking skill to Chinese food industry, WACC decided to change its name to WFCCI.

Yangliu, Chairman of WFCCI, said at the press conference that WFCCI will continue to promote Chinese food around the world, and she indicated WFCCI will focus on the

internationalization of Chinese catering.
