At the launch ceremony, American audience was amazed by ethnic performances including the lion dance, folk dances such as Cotton Dance, Butterfly Dance, Shaman Dance and Bawang Dance, and national intangible cultural heritage "Ergui Wrestling". The climax came with the hot dance presented by American Olympic champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White.

After the launch ceremony, the American tourists climbed the Great Wall and visited the imperial summer resort and neighbouring temples to have first-hand experience of the diversity of China’s tourism resources, and better understanding about Chinese history and culture. It’s learnt that these American tourists will continue to travel to other provinces along the Great Wall in groups.
