Located in the southeast of China Guizhou is known for its large Ethnic Minority population. The colorful cultures and traditions of these groups have made Guizhou a favorite with visitors. Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou Province is the economic center of the province and is home to many historical sites. The city is home to over 30 different Ethnic Minority groups and there are many items unique to each group available for purchase in the city.

A visit to Guizhou Province is a wonderful experience. It allows visitors to witness the cultures of some of China’s most colorful Minority Groups. The music, clothing, food, and traditions of each group are unique and visitors are welcome to experience them all for themselves. Many of the groups have their own welcoming ceremonies to honor visitors.
