Highlight morning excursion will take you to visit the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century, the amazing Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, which boasts the title of the World's Eighth Great Wonder. Here, you may see the clay soldiers and horses of distinct facial expressions and positions orderly arranged in battle formations and the famous Bronze Chariots and Horses, as well as many delicate bronze weapons, presenting a real scene of war in ancient China. Then drop by a Pottery-making Factory. Around noon, rather than the mass-produced food at the tourist eateries arranged by most agencies, we will offer you an a la carte lunch at the well-known best local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The 64.5-meter-high (211.6 feet) pagoda was built in the Tang Dynasty (about 1,300 years ago) to house the Buddhist scriptures and statues brought back form India. Not far from the pagoda, you will then come to one of the best museums in China, Shaanxi Provincial History Museum, to gain further insight into Chinese history and culture through the large collection of historical items. Tonight, the local specialty Dumpling Dinner and a wonderful Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Performance at Shaanxi Opera Theatre (Addr: No. 165, Wenyi Road) is scheduled for you to appreciate.
