In the morning, you will be driven to the world-famous Museum of Qin Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses, known as the Eighth Wonder of the World. Over 8,000 life-sized clay soldiers, horses and chariots stand in neat battle formations, presenting the grand military power of the Qin Dynasty more than 2,200 years ago. After having lunch at a local Chinese restaurant, you can visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, a landmark Buddhist relic built in the Tang Dynasty to preserve ancient Buddhist scriptures. You will start the day by wandering along Xi’an Ancient City Wall, part of grand and great-preserved ancient city wall recording the history of generation by generation. You can walk or cycle on the wall to capture panoramic views of the old and new city. Next, you can tour the Stele Forest Museum, home to thousands of precious stone tablets inscribed with masterpieces of Chinese calligraphy spanning over 1,000 years. You will join a hands-on stone rubbing workshop—an intangible cultural heritage craft. Under professional guidance, and make your own calligraphy rubbing as a unique cultural souvenir. After sightseeing, you will transfer to Xi’an High-Speed Railway Station and take bullet train to Chengdu. Upon arrival, the local guide picks you up and transfers you to your hotel. After arrive to Leshan you will visit the Leshan Giant Buddha, a UNESCO World Heritage Site carved into a cliff during the Tang Dynasty. It is a gigantic stone project standing 71 meters tall, working began 713 AD and took 90 years to finish. The sitting Buddha overlooks the convergence of three rivers day in and day out. After the tour, you will head to Zhanggongqiao Food Street to taste authentic Sichuan local snacks and spicy cuisine. It gathers Bobo chicken, Qiaojiao Beef, Sweet-skinned Duck, Fried skewers and much more countless Must-try dishes.
