Thank you for arranging such an exciting and comprehensive itinerary where everything went so smoothly and according to plan. We really loved Harbin- it is a most fascinating city, interesting, so very clean and is so beautiful covered in snow & ice. We enjoyed every part of our stay there - the ice & snow sculptures, the tigers etc - we found Volga Manor quite spectacular. Even the weather was perfect - very cold but blue skies & lovely sunshine. Our Tour Guide Anna was absolutely wonderful - we could not have wished for a more delightful, charming and very well organized young lady to escort us. She looked after our every need, was so helpful, friendly & happy and always on time. She showed great patience when we wanted more time at a particular place, supported us when the path was slippery and helped us in every way possible. Anna insisted on taking us for different restaurant experiences at every meal, helped us order food we liked & made sure we were well looked after. We found the places & quality of the food excellent. Many of the restaurants were not the usual tourist type places so she gave us a really authentic experience. It was so very sad to say goodbye to her. Equally our driver Mr Chen (I think that is how we spell his name) was just the most thoughtful, polite & kind person. He always waited very patiently for me to take my endless photos, helped us get into our warm coats, opened the car doors for us & looked after us so well. His driving was excellent - he is a very safe driver and a really nice person who made sure the car was always warm for us to return to and where possible drove to meet us so we didn't have to spend any more time out in the cold than was absolutely necessary. Could you please pass on to Anna and Mr Chen & those responsible for choosing them our sincere thanks for the excellent way they looked after us right from the first minute we arrived until we departed. So Judith we can't thank you enough for all your help & for organizing such a wonderful trip for us. We have been travelling for over 40 years now and this trip to Harbin is definitely one of the most memorable trips we have ever had. We will certainly be in contact with you when we want to return to China again. Meanwhile once again thank you and our very best wishes to you.
