Rarely visited by outsiders, Guizhou Province is an incredible place. It is filled with abundant natural scenery, Ethnic Minority Groups, and ancient history and traditions. Since the area is rarely visited, the Ethnic Minority Groups and their ancient and colorful traditions and cultures are well preserved. It is a fantastic way to witness Chinese past firsthand. Located in the south of China, above Guangxi and Yunnan Provinces, Guizhou is a fairly mountainous province.

Guizhou boasts its rich tourist resources with its appealing picturesque landscapes and diverse ethnic culture. Some famous tourist attractions are much explored by the tourists, such as Anshun Huangguoshu Waterfalls, the Dragon Cave, Tunpu Culture of the Ming Dynasty, Kaili Miao people's villages, the Buyi people's villages, the Dong people's villages, Ground Opera etc. Guizhou homes 49 distinct groups, each with its own language, lifestyle, festivals, costumes and cultural heritage. The southeast part of the province is known for its unique Dong ethnic culture. Towns like, Congjiang, Rongjiang, Liping, Diping and Zhaoxing are scattered amongst the hills along the border with Guangxi. Thesetowns have many artistic covered bridges, called Wind and Rain Bridges. They were built by the Dong minority people.

Originally built in 1598, during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), Jiaxiu Tower is the symbol of Guiyang City in Guizhou Province. Known as the First Scholar’ Tower, it was built on Fuyu Bridge over the Nanming River.

Dragon Palace Cave

Dragon Palace Cave is located in the western suburbs of Anshun in Guizhou Province. The cave is actually a spectacular underground cave system with lakes, waterfalls, all underground. The cave system occupies an area of almost 60 square kilometers.

Zhaoxing Dong Village

Zhaoxing Village, located in China’s Guizhou Province, is a very large Dong Ethnic Minority Village. The village is situated in a beautiful location, surrounded by mountains and there is a clear stream running through the village.

Qianling Park

Qingling Park is located on Qianling Hill, which is 1.5 kilometers away from Guiyang city; it is a large park built in 1957. The name of the park was derived from Qianling Mountain that lies in the park area

Zhenyuan Ancient Town

Zhenyuan is a surprisingly undamaged water town located in the easternmost of Guizhou Province. The historical and cultural town has total land area 1878 square kilometers. It's just 62 kilometers from Kaili City.

Huangguoshu Waterfall

At a height of 74 meters and a width of 81 meters, Huangguoshu Waterfall is the largest waterfall in Asia. It is located 45 kilometers southwest of Anshun City in Guizhou Province.
