Nanfeng Kiln is located in Shiwan, Chancheng District of Foshan, known as the Pottery Capital of South China. Constructed in the Zhengde period of the Ming Dynasty, it is a well-preserved ancient dragon kiln with a history of over 500 years. Amazingly, its kiln fire has never been completely extinguished, earning it the reputation of a "living fossil of ceramic art" and a national key cultural relic protection site.
Built along the hillside, the long serpentine kiln body adopts ancient wood-firing techniques.
