Nalati National Forest Park
Nalati National Forest Park sits in Xinyuan County of Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, widely hailed as one of the most beautiful alpine grasslands in Xinjiang. Blessed with a unique temperate mountain climate, it boasts rolling green grasslands, towering snow-capped Tianshan peaks, dense primitive spruce forests and clear winding mountain rivers.
Divided into the upper grassland and the river valley zone, the park offers fantastic views in different seasons. From late spring to summer, countless wildflowers bloom all over the meadow, with cattle and sheep wandering freely among lush grass. You can ride horses across the vast grassland, stay in traditional Kazakh yurts and enjoy local milk wine and roasted mutton. In autumn, the forests turn golden, forming stunning layered scenery ideal for landscape photography.
